As our fleet is currently no larger than an SUV, we carry the mandated $1.5 million combined single limit liability insurance through Progressive Preferred Commercial.
If you are farming trips to us, we will be happy to add you as an Additional Insured on our policy and send you the ACORD Certificate (COI) for your files. Please request this when sending any reservations.
Conversely, for any trips that we farm out to you, we will require being listed as an Additional Insured and will need an ACORD Certificate (COI) from your company with Lux Transport LLC, 1717 E 9th St Suite 601, Cleveland, OH 44114 shown as the certificate holder.

Although our fleet vehicles do not meet the definition of a Commercial Motor Vehicle as outlined by the FMCSA and as set forth in the United Carrier Registration (UCR) Act (49 U.S. Code § 31101), we are still considered a “For-Hire Passenger Motor Carrier” and ARE REQUIRED to register with UCR for our Interstate designation; We are currently registered with UCR through 2025.

Our current owned fleet consists of two “Flagship” vehicles : A Premium SUV and a Luxury SUV.
Premium Flagship SUV: This is a Ford Expedition MAX (Limited Stealth Edition). It is loaded with every option available from Ford for the safety, comfort, and convenience of clients. The passengers in the 2nd row can enjoy controlling the climate controls (including heated seats), fully control the radio volume and change stations by presets, and an impressive view out of the panoramic glass roof. The 2nd row has 40-20-40 split and fully-independent folding, sliding, and tipping “bench” seating (literally two captains chairs—sans armrests—with an independent “jumpseat” between them) which allows up to 7 total passengers (not including the chauffeur). 3rd row legroom is industry-leading and there is ample cargo room for luggage.
Luxury Flagship SUV: This is a Lincoln Navigator L (Reserve). More well-appointed than most luxury SUVs used for livery, this vehicle has the 2nd row executive console between the captains seats. This console houses all of the climate controls (including those for the heated and cooled seats), the ability to adjust the radio station and volume, additional storage for bottled waters and more, plus the ability for the passenger to fully control the overhead shade of the stunning panoramic glass roof. Like the Expedition, 3rd row legroom is industry-leading and there is ample cargo room for luggage.
Previously following CDC guidelines for COVID, there is also a very tactful acrylic divider that is available to be placed between the front and 2nd rows in our owned fleet. Should this be necessary for any client, we can re-install this with proper advance notice. Install fees may apply.
Should the need arise to assist with additional vehicles that are not available within our owned fleet, please know that we can (and do occasionally) partner with a very select few fully legal and compliant local companies to fulfill requests. These companies have vehicles spanning from Lincoln Continental, BMW 5-Series, and Mercedes S-Class sedans to Suburban, Escalade, Navigator, and Expedition SUVs, all the way up to nearly 40 passenger luxury limo coaches. We’d be happy to offer up any of these other vetted vehicles that are available to support any of your requests! Please know that we would never send out work to another company or an I/O (if we could find a legitimate one in the market) without first communicating it and obtaining your consent. Lux Transport is fully permitted for service at Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE) and the FBOs at CLE.
We also fully service the following airports and their FBOs that do not require permits: BKL, CGF, CAK, LPR, and PCW.
The following airports are within 2.5 hours of Cleveland and we currently only provide dropoff service for these locations: PIT, TOL, DTW, CMH, OSU, LCK, and ERI.

All rates are variable and are dependent upon the start and end locations. We also employ low-level dynamic pricing. Our rates will be quoted as “All-In” which will include the base rate, 20% gratuity, any airport fees (minimum of $4 for CLE), tolls, variable fuel surcharge, etc. Sales tax is also initially included, but affiliate transactions can be tax exempt… Please see the separate “Sales Tax” section below for further details.
Transfers/Point-to-point: Fully calculated by mileage, including distance from and to garage. The current minimum all-in affiliate rate for transfers is $109.88 (without tax) for our Premium Flagship SUV and $131.86 for our Luxury Flagship SUV.
Hourly: Fully calculated by time, including the time it takes to go from and to the garage. The current absolute minimum weekday all-in affiliate rate for hourly is $109.88 per hour (without tax) for our Premium Flagship SUV and $131.86 for our Luxury Flagship SUV. Minimum of 2 hours Monday through Thursday and 3 hours Friday through Sunday.
We will be happy to provide a quote based on your specific needs. A more standard affiliate rate card may also be available upon request.

The state of Ohio requires passenger transportation companies to charge sales tax for the service. As such, “All-In” rates that many companies quote for farmed trips may also include sales tax. However, since we would be the “vendor” for your pass-through sale of the service (when you farm out to us), there is a sales tax exemption.
We are more than happy to remove the sales tax to affiliates. To be fully compliant with this, though, we will require that you first fill out, sign, and return to us a Blanket Exemption form. For trips that you are farming out to us, first copy and paste the following data into that fillable online form:

Reason for Exemption: RESALE OF SERVICES (PASS-THROUGH SALES, “FARMED” TRIPS)
Conversely, if we are farming out a trip to you in Ohio or another state that requires sales tax, we will be happy to fill out and send you the requisite Exemption form to avoid paying you sales tax on these types of transactions. Please provide the proper form for us to fill out and return if you are outside of Ohio.

We proudly utilize the Moovs reservation and dispatch software. If you are also on Moovs, you may send and receive farmed trips through here with absolute ease.
If you are on LimoAnywhere, we also utilize LimoAnywhere and their LA Net connection to better facilitate receiving your farmed out reservations. Please note that you must take take the additional step of manually attaching a copy of the “Affiliate Trip Sheet” PDF file via the “Email/Fax Confirmation” tab to seamlessly farm out a trip to us via LA Net. Otherwise, you will get an automated email rejection and we will be unaware of your request. Please note this minor detail as it is a major piece in ensuring that we provide the highest level of service to your client.
If you use a different industry software, we are also on the GRiDD/GNet platform that integrates farmed trips with other software like FASTTRAK, Ground Alliance, Ground Widgets, LimoGrid, LimoLink, CD Systems, etc. At this time, Moovs only supports trips farmed IN to us from affiliates through GNet. Through a partnership with another operator in Cleveland, we have completed Pax training and certification in 2021. We support ongoing training and knowledge, where available.

Our male chauffeurs wear a black suit, white shirt, dark or red tie, and dress shoes. Female chauffeurs are to wear a similar “uniform”, as appropriate. Inclement weather allows for some leniency.
Our chauffeurs are not in a hurry. Their priority is comfort and safety. So, they are expected to accelerate, brake, and corner as smoothly and as effortlessly as possible.
The interior and exterior of the vehicles are to be cleaned and maintained by the chauffeur before, after, and throughout a reservation. There is usually enough down time on hourly trips to ensure that any messes already created by a client are tidied up before they re-enter the vehicle.
The interior temperature and ambiance should be quiet and comforting. Clients do have full control of the temperature and the radio volume and station, but it is advised to have the temperature preset to around 68-70 degrees, the radio volume on a very low level for light background noise, and the station set to a non-offensive and generally acceptable genre like SiriusXM’s The Blend.
They also must have a deep knowledge of the bars, restaurants, and attractions in the Cleveland area and be ready to make any recommendations on the fly.
Knowledge and awareness of traffic and traffic flow is a must, along with having a keen sense of direction and being able to navigate sans GPS. Still, it is recommended that chauffeurs utilize Waze and have a Bluetooth earpiece to discreetly listen to voice directions.
Our chauffeurs do not smoke or vape. If they do, they will do so on their own time, away from the vehicle, and not wearing the clothes they wear to drive.
They will default to speaking only when spoken to, but will read situations and be adept at engaging in conversation as circumstances require.
Discretion and privacy is paramount for clients and no information from conversations will be shared outside of the vehicle or on social media. This includes the prohibition of taking selfies with clients unless the client actually initiates the request for some reason.
