You already own and operate a luxury vehicle and may enjoy the freedom of earning on your own time, possibly on Uber Black and Lyft Black. You may have also grown into a bit of an expert on Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Come work with us! Lux Transport is currently seeking qualified and experienced individuals who already own and operate their own luxury vehicles to become Independent Operators on an as-needed basis to provide our clients with safe, efficient transportation.

We're looking for the best of the best! You must be knowledgeable about Cleveland and have excellent customer service skills, be discreet (no selfies with celebrities and no sharing of conversations occurring during a reservation), and have a clean driving record. We value hardworking people who put the client first. Hospitality, customer service, and/or service industry experience is a plus. Don’t have any previous chauffeur experience beyond Uber or Lyft? That’s okay, too, as we will be happy to provide guidance and advice to anyone who has a great skill set, mindset, and is eager to learn!

As an Independent Operator, you will be provided opportunities in advance to accept reservations that are scheduled for practically any day or time of day. You only choose to work the jobs that work for you and your schedule. The more flexible and available you are, the more likely you will have opportunities to earn!

As an Independent Operator, you will need to provide a clean and acceptable luxury vehicle (restrictions apply), proper commercial auto insurance coverage ($1.5 million), a valid and active USDOT number, and a valid and active Ohio PUCO (CPCN) number. Lux Transport will provide the individual job details, general guidance and expectations of service. We require that our Independent Operators follow an elevated level of dress (black suit, white shirt, dark or red tie, etc), keep the vehicles clean and well-maintained inside and out, and represent Lux Transport in a safe and professional manner.

Rate:

We compensate Independent Operators in a manner that is consistent and competitive with industry standards. Typically, this includes paying a set percentage of a reservation’s base rate plus 100% of any gratuities and also any other applicable fees that may be incurred (like tolls, parking, etc). Specific compensation terms will be spelled out in detail within a separate Independent Operator Agreement.
